Do you really think they are just going to replace all the wagies with robots without also implementing an airtight security grid befitting the feudo-corporate hellscape that awaits us? Facial recognition is one small step toward that objective. It's only a matter of time before it becomes standard practice at nearly all point of sales (inb4 digital identity).
