I'm glad it works for you. My question is why do you feel the need to mischaracterize Brave? Its well known that the average payout per month is around $20 if you're in the US. And you're claiming that no advertisers are willing to do this while Amazon, CBS, Russel Stover and other big companies are running ad campaigns on the platform as we speak. Furthermore, technology changes to accommodate revenue models that in the past weren't financially and systematically viable. You only need to compare pets.com of the past to chewy.com currently to see that what didn't work in 2000 works in 2020. You have a gig economy in full swing where people are monetizing everything from their cars (uber, lyft) to their houses (airbnb), so why would monetizing your time spent on the internet be any different?

And to your point that websites don't want to offer the capability that Brave does I would argue that there hasn't been a platform to facilitate that until now. Its well known in the advertising world that banner ads might as well be dead space on a webpage because users have become blind to them. Case in point is yourself proactively blocking ads through your browser, which is proof that the model of serving embedded webpage ads is dead. Clearly companies still want to have their ads reach users so this is the next best thing when it comes to customer exposure. Even if you don't click the popup notification you still have to interact act with it in order to close it. This give companies the exposure they want to customers and does it in a better way than banners.

You don't have to like Brave or its model, but don't be disingenuous and claim that it doesn't fulfill the first rule of advertising, which is to get users to engage with ads.I would say that early adopters of the system have a leg up on the competition because Brave users are fanatical about the platform and are more willing to support advertisers and publishers who have been willing to use the platform
