What the fuck happened here? How did Bitcoin go from over $1100/coin down into the absolute fucking basement, $0.06/c. Only to then rebound to record highs within a year.

I think this is worth talking about to keep a lot of people from making the same mistake the next time. This was obviously a coordinated attack from some very powerful people. They no doubt convinced a lot of anons to panic sell away absolute fortunes.

I've even been trying to read up on this event to see what happened, and why, but can't find anything. Anyone who was deep into crypto at the time, can you explain what this was. How it happened, why it happened, how BTC rebounded?
