i like to buy in 5x the ATR increments below the 200 hour simple MA and cover half at a return to my first entry if i buy more than 1 position, and i split my money 5 ways for it, if that helps. feel free to backtest it yourself, it's a pretty comfy way to invest. i usually don't ever put all of my money into it but that's fine because i never need a stop loss, that's sorta the point (instead of a stop loss im using position sizing to manage risk). if i ever put all my money in i just hold until it goes back up again, because as long as things in the company remain the same i know they will make new ATH's eventually.

just make sure to keep track of world events (in case another black swan like covid comes around) and keep up to date on FA on the company to make sure it continues to be solid. i usually like to look for what catalysts/hype events it might have coming up (like CES or earnings), get in low, and sell on the pump. you can also do this with other companies you believe in. management is a big deal, lisa su is really solid.

no, it took me a year and lots of testing to figure it out. i'll at least give you a hint: you only need 2-3 normal indicators that are freely available that everyone can use in any platform, common ones. then it's just a matter of tweaking the settings and figuring out your optimal risk to reward by using a computer to backtest over large sample sizes on highly liquid stocks. that's where the secret sauce is.

like if you have a system that has a 55% win rate and you're using a 1:1 risk:reward that is technically a profitable system you can run with. there are a lot of people who run with 1:2 and just try to be right roughly half the time, for example. you can also do things like scaling in and scaling out, all of this requires a lot of testing and statistical analysis. learn how to use excel and thinkscript.
