okay seriously though how can GME recover at this point?
it seems that after all the fucking research everyone on reddit did to assure that this thing was going to the moon they forgot about the most obvious fucking shit like for example that the shorts don't expire, or that Melvin doesn't have to cover them all at the same time. both of these things were part of the plan, so how do autists manage to research THIS much but then fail at the most straightforward shit? boggles my mind.

so tell me what's stopping the hedgies from just not covering their shorts, or just buying them back at a very, very slow pace to keep GME from mooning.

they can take as much time as they like to buy back the shorted shares, so they'll just do it over the course of 1 to 2 years

But if everyone sells on wednesday but only a finite amount of transactions can go through the system per day, doesn't that mean that some of the sell orders EVEN if they're market orders will execute too late?
