The opportunities presented and the decisions we make, in our current physical model exist solely of molecular neural pathways. This neural activity is inherently driven by quantum fluctuations within the physical model. Therefore, there are infinite potential subjective conscious experiences from the individual perspective at a given moment in time.
If the other actors within your conscious experiences are indeed individuals and not merely constructs, then they too have infinite timelines which intersect with yours. There are experiences where they win and you lose, or you both win, or you both lose. It's your internal desires, those of which you are truly convinced will be fulfilled, that determine where your personal conscious experience will steer you.
