I've only ever traded in crypto and have been considering getting into the stock market recently.
I do not live in America.
From what I've read online it seems like for stocks you're required to have a stock broker and have him buy and sell stocks for you instead of doing it yourself through an exchange as you would with cryptocurrencies.
Why is this the case for the stock market and how would you go about day trading in this case?
Why does everybody who chooses to invest not become a stock broker themselves in order to trade if that is a requirement?
