I've said this earlier in the thread, but the nature of my job does not afford me much leverage legally to sue, suing will permanently destroy my chances of moving forward in the industry (very gossipy profession), and also I personally find the idea distasteful.

I pity my boss... he's afraid. he spent too much money on advertising and everyone knows it. Perception is everything to him. Today BLM was marching down the street from his office. I get it. He's scared. I told him I get it. I thanked him for the help he gave me....

And I am in with some very smart dudes who are making a community of sorts in the woods. So it's all good.
