Can any knowledgeable zerpers provide a good article or explanation of the actual mechanics of a token revaluation on the XRP ledger? The so called "switch flip".

Like how that would actually function? Organizations involved and the mechanic by which they can set a fixed or chosen price of a decentralized (debatable) publicly traded blockchain token in the world of DEXs and whatnot?

Or is the proposed "switch" price more of a function of a sudden surge of throughput/demand on the ledger via the banking system at large and the associated escrow/liquidity available creating a sudden price rise?

Not fudding, just trying to understand the logic.
