btc hits $12k in june and then bottoms back to $5k for several years. People abandon BTC because its a flawed first generation crypto currency, gets adopted en mass by mainstream institutions and retail investors get priced out of the market. Confidence wanes and there is never parabolic movement again as people realize there wont be any greater fools
