This is a fucking ETF, SLV is supposed to reflect the price of the commodity. But instead it became the thing determining the price, it's completely backward. The thing is now the demand is extreme and the supply chain very inelastic, so the SLV price doesn't reflect nor have any impact on the price of silver traded on the open markets anymore.
They keep announcing suppressed prices, currently 27.40, but in reality you can't find anything below 33. If you can find anything at all.
Their scheme is totally crumbling down, and the more they add paper silver to suppress the price, the more it amplify the disconnection between the price of the ETF and the real stuff. To the point where SLV have nothing to do anymore with silver, it's just another shitcoin but worse.

It's legit. constantly green order book, 20 million+ trading volume for a week straight, price keeps recovering back to $2 after every dip, etc. The main FUD was that the people who got in super early were going to dump, but the price has barely changed with the majority of them unlocked already.

i'm afraid to FOMO into this because the risk of it just going sideways for the next 6 months seems to high.
