i don't want to be overly optimistic and say that we have to be close to the end of the trial and there's no way it can stretch on for much longer because that's the same perceptual trap i've fallen into for like the last 500 days.

but that call-in hearing seemed pretty bullish, the SEC shit the bed even more than usual and it seems like they'll get ordered to release the emails, which is a lose-lose for them. they are backed into a corner- either they release the emails (which i think they will do, it fits the plan/storyline/lore) or they hurriedly negotiate an end to the case on terms which are favorable to Ripple.

that part where she asked the SEC lawyer if she had heard them correctly when they said the Hinman speech was totally legal or whatever was a high point.

also i mean the case started on the winter solstice and we're like a week away from the summer solstice so who knows. by this point i've learned that meme dates bring only pain
