This is what I'm afraid of. I'm in final year mech eng and my academic supervisor is basically trying to groom me into going straight into a PhD with his research group. The money is shit though, like 16k euro a year, and I am so fucking done with uni after the last year of doing it entirely from home. Have an offer for an entry-level job with a start-up I interned for so will take that and MAYBE do a PhD in a few years. But ya it seems like experience beats all else.
