can you guys give me reasons to stop trying to get a gf?

i know it will never happen if i try this hard and the more desperately i want to be loved, the lonelier and more disgusting i will feel, and i kinda wanna go back to improoving, But at the same time none of my friends with gfs care about improoving at all. and my friends gfs love the parts of them that are conventionally unnattractive.

i started investing and working out this year and this week i caved and paid someone for GFE, felt extremely unfulfilled and THEN PAID THEM AGAIN the next day and got hoed again

i cant even drive a car

the last few weeks id thought id improoved enough to put myself back out there and started browsing soc and lowered my standards to include trannies and femboys and i still feel miserable

ive only had one gf in 2011 and she was abusive

i had a hookup in 2017 and she shamed me for my sexual performance

and i had a date later on that year that ghosted me bc i was an insecure pussy that didnt know how to make out.

i really like reading about eastern religion lately which prob makes it harder to connect with me bc i like spending alot of time reading scripture and looking at iconography and religious art lately.

Hey /biz/ need some help
I have an offer to work on a project with a professor this summer but it will only pay $500 for the entire summer. I have to pay for housing and even though my housing is cheap for the summer, it will only cover half of the total housing. I could also pick up a parttime job at school over the summer as well.
Alternatively I could go back home and help my dad with his business. And of course get a part time job there as well, but the market is a little saturated due to the amount of high schoolers in the area. Rent/food/pretty much everything else is free too.

Essentially working on the project would cost me, but I do get something nice to put onto my resume. Staying at home would net more money (which my family could use) but in some sense I would be squandering the opportunity to bolster my experience.
