True that's why the catholic and orthodox churches teach that you must repent, ask God for forgivness, who thank grants you forgivness through the priest acting in persona christi (aka Christ uses the body of the priest) to forgive you in the ritual)) and a penance to do.
Also if the priest in the confessional knows you are not being repentant he can withhold forgivness (and thus communion).
If you are unrepentent and manage to trick the priest and partake in communion you add sacrilige to the list of sins you commited.
