It took me a while to understand but GME is a stock that has been completely de-coupled from the business it's supposed to represent. The way I understand it, it's become an arena for different factions of Jews shooting their money beams at each other and /smg/ is betting that the Jews with the upwards beam will get the upper hand for a second due to complicated technical reasons and the price will spike for an instant.
We'll see what actually happens but I can guarantee you that it will have nothing to do with the business known as GameStop.

Here's my thinking: Real Estate is as cylcilcal as it gets. Due to Corona we're at or near the bottom of this cycle. Even if some REITs go bankrupt, if even 1/2 of them "return to normal" that would be pretty solid gains. If we get in a situation where all these REITs go bankrupt, the stock market as a whole is probably fucked anyways so it doesn't make much difference.

Thoughts?

I'm really tempted but buying a 17% dividend stock with a 100+% payout ratio feels like I'm just begging to get fucked.

So I've done some regular value / dividend investing over the past 9 months (ignoring all the memes because I'm not a degenerate gambler) and I'm up roughly 5% while making terrible choices relative to overall market trends (not investing during the dip, ignoring tech).

However, I've been thinking how my portfolio would have done if I had bought exlusively /smg/ MEMES during their intital shill phases. So I've made a list (feel free to add). Some of these probably don't belong to /smg/ anymore since the penny stock general emerged (and thank God) but anyways. In roughly chronological order:

>SNS (bear)
>SPCE (bull)
>TSLA (extreme bull)
>TMDX (crab)
>WRCDF (extreme bear)
>Niggerbank (I forget the name, I think it did a quick pump and dump)

I realize some are missing, but these stocks are definetly among the most heavily shilled memes this year.
If I had invested an equal amount into each, I'd be up tremedously, far outperforming any conventional ETF, the S&P500, even the tech rally.

Is this a viable strategy? Just invest small amounts into the /smg/ meme of the week? I think it might be, as shocking as it would seem.
Now imagine living in a country where options are viable and just getting 6 month calls on all of these instead of buying the actual stocks.

Can anyone on this board proof that in the entire history of crypto, a single corporation has ever used a cryptocurrency (not blockchain technology, a cryptocurrency) for anything? You can't. Because it hasn't happened even once.
