Ideally I think what needs to happen is they need a longer period for IL protection and I think they may need a longer withdrawal period for FULL protection. The problem seems to me is that what they are calling IL isn't just IL. Wasn't as big of a problem in V2 so I'm confused what changed in V3 myself. But I think there needs to be some kind of mechanism that protects the smaller platform providers from large withdrawals with heavy IL for this model to work like this. First steps need to be to explain why people who shouldn't be experiencing any significant IL are suddenly getting railed. I think depending on the response to that, the fix needs to simply place some constraints so that large whales can't cause a death spiral in the span of a week. I would imagine some kind of vesting period for BNT for positions that significantly reduce liquidity makes sense.

Now maybe this won't work and bancor is dead but nothing here has really lead me to believe there was any malicious intent on the bancor side of things. But I don't think this level of volatility was something anybody expected and certainly not something like this to happen where they used the platform to short itself. It's clearly an oversight.
