I don't mean suicidal as in actively wanting to kill themselves, I just mean it's at that level of mismatch between the environment those behaviors evolved for and the environments that politicians and hedgies find themselves in. It's like moths flying into fire or electric lights. Nah, it'll be a cyberpunk noir series about unreasonably cool looking versions of us and the cringeminers (one of whom will be a literal gorilla with cyber augs) shadowrunning around the neon-shadowed underbellies of Chicago, New York, London, Rio (Brazilian puts), Hong Kong, Zurich (Credit Suisse), Nassau (FTX), and finally DC, trying to expose the hedgie antics by corporate espionage instead of just jerking around with Excel spreadsheets and reading public filings.
