I feel like if America goes to shit, the whole world will also go to shit most likely so should I even bother having like 20% or whatever in a Vanguard international etf? Or should I just throw it into SPY or VTI or something? I feel like my gains would be better if I went all-in on the USA and if the USA falls I won't have shit left over anyway so what does it matter?
