this pic will never stop pissing me off. at a minimum everyone should be able to identify whether you're making higher highs and higher lows (green) or lower highs and lower lows (red) to signify trends. you could also have some kind of moving average (blue) where above is bullish and below is bearish, where price would likely cross and close below it around the area circled.

this isn't even advanced stuff it's the most basic of the basic elementary shit.
