That's a beauty, nice historical artefact too then. I didn't know that.

It's fucking sexy. I personally must say I like either my fashy eagles or my old British stuff best though. Probably my personal connection, it's so interesting how much of a nation's history is contained in it's coinage. This curios artefact is the "godless florin" which didn't have Dei Gratia on it because a feinian was in charge of the royal mint at the time. All coins even today have Dei Gratia on, which means the Queen is still rules by divine right. Watch out burgers. It's still sovereign clay, and by the will of the lord, the lizards will not let it go.

Anon, consider how silver money worked. You know the local jeweller will buy. It's valuable because of it's properties and scarcity. Barter with it. Silver is money. Modern coins are scrap metal. Well done for buying, it'll serve you well. Silver is wealth, FIAT is, well, a useful lie of a promise to pay (in gold or silver).

Coin shops or to collectors. The longer you hold numismatic stuff though the higher it's relative value goes. It's gone literally crazy over the last year, shit I was buying for £2-3 is going for £7-8 upwards. I saw a Victorian crown going for £90 on Atkinson's bullion last month. A rare treat is this; the "godless florin"
