if rate cut generated inflation why no inflation in europe and japan past 15 years despite negative rates? looks more like fed is reaction to outisde pressure as dollar is pushing higher. in general there are again in head of fed and ecb, boj,.. people who have never traded they dont understand how humans react in different conditions and simply assume rate cuts -> inflation. i think they should hire only hedge fund managers with verified skin-in-the-game track records to these positions, no politcans or other people who have never even been close to working on bond desks etc
