I used to be a NEET (part time fast food worker) living with my parents

smoking weed regularly, and playing CS:GO to quite a high level (grinding hs only dm servers with top players like pasha, kennyS etc)

This was around 2012.

I did this for around 4 years.

During that time i felt like a "loser". I had no girlfriend. i had no "future". i felt low value. but i had fun playing cs:go in its prime.

Fast forward a few years, i got a high paying full time job.

I quit gaming. mostly because i wouldn't have time to practice properly, and i guess the game was changing and becoming more casual and "trendy". You weren't allowed to voice chat shit talk between rounds etc.

I also had to quit weed. I quit fapping because i needed all the energy i could get to socialize with normalfags at work


I got a beautiful girlfriend and moved into my own place


I am now "successful". I go the gym more, have lots of free time...

i guess i feel more at "peace" with life as i have a clear future ahead

but god damn do i sometimes miss playing videogames 10 hours+ a day. I look upon those times fondly.

not a day goes by that i just want to quit my stressful job, become a NEET again, play games, masturbate and smoke weed all day.
