I'm 18, in college and realizing my engineering degree in 3 years time will only get me to a job I hate but the pay will probably be well above average. At this point I just want to make enough money so that I don't have to work, or atleast work on businesses and side gigs I actually like doing. I'm seriously considering dropping out and working a trade job and investing in stocks and crypto so I can make it. If everything goes to shit and I find I can't make it at all I'll just hang myself, I'm not gonna waste 8 hrs a day 5 days a week 45+ years of my life doing nothing productive. That's basically 1/3 of my life working, plus the other 1/3 I spend sleeping.

I will never forgive myself for quitting my browsing of this shithole in 2016 when it was just an extension of /g/ due to all the crypto threads. I could have easily fallen into the crypto rabbit hole earlier and would've made money during the 2017 bull run. I fucking hate myself for it, but I'm not gonna let it happen again.
