Why not double major?
I have a good friend who is a technical writing manager. He has a master's in English.
If you had a double major in English and some form of technical or engineering field you could do really well.
If you have an engineering undergrad degree you could get a law degree and become an intellectual property lawyer. They make loads of money. An English degree would help with this. Your job would be to register patents for companies and find others who have infringed on your clients' intellectual property rights.
English isn't useless; it just needs a context within which to be applied.

I've lost everything due to the economic crisis where Im from, and I got in to crypto, had lurked around /biz before
long story short I was almost going to make back my life savings(around 5k worth) and I got liquidated
