If it makes you feel better since I'm almost in the same situation, you've only lost ~$8K at this point which I hope you can recover from within half a year from even a min wage job. It doesn't matter if the legalization gets postponed a month or two, that doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things since the real money is in exports which none of the US marijuana companies can do in the foreseeable future.

Right now my mentality is to just give up and hold because the future is solid (it's just fucking overvalued right now) and it's an amount that I can eventually recover from. I can't fucking predict if it's going down another 50% down or if it's going to bounce back up by Friday, but at this point, I'd rather regret not-pulling-out over pulling-out and seeing it bounce back up.

That's not to say you should not pull out yourself since $8K is a lot of money, but this is the hole I've already dug myself in. I'd hit myself for being the idiot that holds and holds but ends ups hemorrhaging in the end. If I wanted to chicken and pull out, I should have put in a stop loss in the first place.
