Dero also had some guy copy them with DeroGold. DeroGold even got a bigger MC than Dero at one point due to butthurt whales bumping the price, but eventually the project died and Dero is still going to this day.

Of course, that means nothing for price though. Dero has done many firsts and has incredible technology, but they literally are against advertising of any kind and treat the project more like a sports team than an investment. A good project knows how to balance both the professionalism of the technology with steady marketing.
