Threadly reminder to smelt down your pretty boy coins and verify that you have actually received what you paid for. There are tutorials on YouTube on how to smelt and separate pure gold/silver.

Don't be a sucker and just blindly trust your seller, even big well-known companies would make a lot more from skimming than what they would lose from the occasional lawsuit that goes nowhere and drags out for months.

yes silver is the poor man's gold. you need a lot more space to hold the same value and it's a lot harder to sell it all simply due to transport.

regardless the important thing is that you NEED to smelt down your bought gold/silver yourself to know you haven't been fooled by the company that sold it to you.

i see so many people on /biz/ posting all these fancy "pretty boy" gold/silver collections. they don't even realize they are just blindly trusting the company to send them what they paid for. Why the hell would you do that if you know your customers don't smelt down their shit to verify their purchase?

no matter the size of the company you shouldn't blindly trust them to just give you their silver. i remember hearing about banks trying to trick other banks by sending fake gold to them.
