if only you listened

I made a semi popular indie game that made about half a million in early access. I want to grow the game more but every time I market I just lose money. I put around 250k of the money I made into Twitch and YouTube gaming content creators and I don't think I made back more than 50k.

I've used middle man companies to help negotiate deals and that didn't help. I know what the industry average rates are and I'm not being taken advantage of. I just don't understand how anyone in the gaming space markets effectively. These content creators want a fortune for a video or stream and then you make back pennys on what you paid them.

I tried reddit ads too, not much better results there either. Sometimes marketing just feels like a scam unless you can go big enough to go viral or you have a product that monetizes so amazingly well that you can afford to pay these crazy marketing prices.

There is clearly an imbalance in the genders and we need to close the "gender pay gap" by a special tax on women.

Gold chads are positive on the year while BTC chuds fell back below 2017 prices.
