i have been saying this for a long time. it's the game theory optimal play. it's just a matter of time until people start realizing it, and then it's a race to accumulate as much as possible as quickly as possible before the next guy realizes the same thing...

Economics 2.0 is basically the grand PAY UP plan.
When I listened to Sergey talk about it it all sounded very tame with many tame "cost reduction" or "fee sharing" terms, when in reality it's quite literally a virtuous relentless PAY UP cycle ad infinitum with zero competitors whatsoever. Pay up or die, Eric Schmidt style.
