Dear /biz/,

3 years ago I started my first job. A sales rep for a flour mill.

I make $5/hr. $200 a week.

I get paid a commission of 0.5% of the sale price.
Last year's turnover was over $1 million.

That means my total commission for a year was just over $5k.
I have asked for a higher percentage but my manager says there are not enough profit margins to support even 1% commission.

Any advice?
