Coin staking and Defi are both scams that only make you money during a bull market, and I will explain how:

>Staking: Let's say you own a lot of a certain coin, it moons and because it enables staking, you can get a passive income of 50k a year staking the coin while it's say $100 a coin.
>Now let's say that after the bull market ends, the value of that coin tanks from $100 down to say, $10, meaning your annual return for staking that coin falls from 50k a year to 5k a year. So, you can see how this quickly falls from being a livable passive income to being dog shit.

When you add up the number of derivates and CDO's out there, it adds up to almost $1 quadrillion.
