quick backstory
>neet for most of my life
>get into Uni studying mechatronics
>do it for 2 years, love the work, hate the students and etc
>could not find a job *on the side*
>decide to stuff it and take the first job that comes my way no matter the hours.
at this point I realised I need to work on things for myself ( gym clothes car etc )
so I decided to have a year to myself.

>30 hour week, couldn't get uni going alongside it so I paused uni for this year while I work
>work's ramping up to 38+ hours, people have left so me and a mate have to fill in a lot of gaps
>already got promoted once and there POTENTIALLY could be a position up for assistant manager.
>if i get any higher in the roles I'm going to have to stay onboard for a longer time than the 1 year that I've given myself.

from an economic standpoint, the money would be slightly better for similar hours ( 43k iirc compared to 32k )

If i had the money then it could make my current hours a little more bearable, because at the moment I have enough time to jerk off and that's about it ( or so I feel, I was a neet so maybe I don't have best time management just atm)

if I get the new role, then that's more money, but it means uni is cockblocked and I'll have to do it all over again, but it will allow me to get some money behind me NOW so that I can invest in myself further and do uni part time or down the track or similar.

not only will I be able to build up my wealth now, but save up for my proper emergency fund, and go travelling, and sorta live a bit of a life than my neet years.

the only issue is uni and it seems to be the "now or later" conundrum. I'm 24

what are your opinions?
