I was going to deposit money into my stock account, but now I'm seriously contemplating buying dumping said money into XMR. I'm just worried of how XMR will perform in a high interest rate environment, because you cannot earn interest on it. Sure when they print money it will rise in nominal terms , but will it rise in real terms (inflation adjusted). My question is will XMR act like gold in a high inflation high interest rate environment. We just don't know because It's uncharted territory for XMR. Will it rise in real terms because it protects against inflation or because of adoption or will it fall because you cannot earn interest on it? Thought on this?
