I like the idea of a decentralized currency with a max of 21 million coins. The inflation jew is going to come back big time soon with the extremely loose modern monetary policy.

But there seems to be a problem with bitcoin, the system only works now because of the 1800 new bitcoins every day. Right now miners get the equivalent of $50 worth of btc per transaction made. So when the new coin subsidy ends, the fee will kill the coin if nothing is done to protocol. But to my understanding you can't reduce the fee without also making the entire system unsafe.

Is Bitcoin destined to fail at some point?

How the fuck is this going to be the default mode of payment in the future when all the transactions will be long strands of numbers with decimal?
Isn't it a bit inconvenient? Newfag here

>With more volume comes less volatility
>As more people get in, wealth will be more distributed
>More HODLERS means less volatility and more SOV

Truth is as time goes by the rich are still getting richer, and they will dump this market as low as they can to get more, this will not decrease over time, on the other hand it will increase. Act accordingly.

Anyone read Andreas Antonopoulos's "Mastering Bitcoin" textbook? There's a sample address in there so I thought I'd look it up and see if anyone sent anything to it, and lo and behold they have - any Andreas even transferred funds out of the address. Kind of funny:

If I sent 1 sat with 0 fees, would that add to the unconfirmed transactions?
What if I sent 1 sat with 1 fee?

What's to stop people from taking 1-2 bitcoins and adding millions of transactions?

BTC is about to breach $20,000

Signs
>BTC has been trading sideways since it momentary spiked to $20,000
>News has hyped up $20,000 as a big checkpoint for BTC
>LTC had it's post-BTC run (LTC often waits until BTC is done to FOMO themselves upwards)
>ETH had its correction run to get back into a better position with BTC
>We've seen ALTs trading decently the last few days
>$25,000,000 USDT was minted earlier today
>A large portion of the market cap correction has been non-BTC value (ETH/LTC stabilizing at lower numbers)
>BTC price is being dragged down, but not an all out crash. We've seen maybe 4% total loss. Opening up opportunity to buy up and sell out at a higher point.
>ALTs are in free fall now across the board
>News cycles have settled down, primed for another explosive news cycle to FOMO newmoney in

Get ready for another go at high numbers.
I expect $25,000 to $30,000 by New Years

Okay, listen up faggots.

No, futures aren't going to crash the price, they allow people to bet both for AND against bitcoin without having a stake. If anything the price will rise due to investors hedging their short bets or doubling down on their longs.

The CME futures are going to stablize the price somewhat (as there will be market pressure for stability, with people betting for and against) and legitimize BTC as an asset class.

Scarcity will keep the price on this meteoric rise now the normies have started reeing.

Fuck your tulip bulbs. Bitcoin has a legitimate utilitarian function as a store of value that can be sent to anyone in the world near instantaneously.

"AHH BUT MAH NETWORKFEEZ!!"
Lightning network you stupid nigger.

Get ready to meet the moon man.
