Growth is good yes, continually isn't a hard requirement for any coin, the liquidity will simply change over time. If all of the community members withdrew liquidity, the token would suffer, LIKE ANY OTHER TOKEN WOULD. It wouldn't die though, the original liquidity put in the Uniswap pool never left.

TL;DR During crab market, pool your tokens and acquire fee revenue. During bull or bear market, have your tokens in your wallet and trade accordingly.
