There is no right answer for this. The best consensus is XUMM which is a ripple endorsed non custodial wallet. Hardware wallets - ledger/trezor, paper wallets, billfodl(metal seed phrase). Generally suggested to have your stack split on multiple wallets and be prepared for theft/cybersecurity/solarflare/emp.
