I literally used to think it didn't matter how much money you make. Now, I understand the importance of money and I'm saving 70% of my paycheck so I can retire early.

Story from yesterday

>Project manager asks me to stay late (like till fucking midnight) for a project I was put on that day
>Tell him I can stay till 7 this time
>Keep good track of my hours and make sure I get paid for those extra 2 hours
>All of that money goes into stock index funds
>On pace to retire at age 35

That dream of throwing my retirement party and basking in the envy of all my coworkers who stress out about work and seem to care way more than I do is what keeps me going.
