I know this old guy in his mid 70's that literally lived his whole life as a fucking wagie, and it was actually a huge character building moment for me, because meeting him scared the shit out of me and showed me everything that I don't want to be. I already took a lot of risks financially, but after meeting this pathetic soul, I thought holy fuck I'm going all in now. The guy has lived in the same apartment for almost 50 years. Never married, eventually adopted a kid but the kid grew up to be a failure and a drug addict. Guy is a lonely alcoholic. The apartment looks ancient with faded furniture from the 70's, fucking paint peeling off the ceiling from just age. I literally almost lost it and started crying it was so depressing. Please, if nothing else, TAKE FUCKING RISKS. You don't wanna end up like this guy.
