In our market economy, fractional reserve banking system, why is the reserve req. only 10%? I know the fed wants to increase money supply but this seems like a dangerously procyclical figure (as in it would exacerbate any spiral should something happen), whats wrong with 50%, 35% or even 20%?

I watched half of it but had to do something else and now I can’t find it. I don’t know who was speaking and I forget the titlr but it was about the financial system collapsing. His main point was that America has become two countries since 1913. Does anyone have the video?
