No it wasn't. Ponzi schemes have no actual yield. In Celsius the yield was "real" in that it was derived from external sources, but it was made through wildly retarded and reckless high-risk investments, and when their investments started to collapse they became insolvent and halted withdrawals.

People throw words like Ponzi around way too much without knowing what it means.
