There was and still is a poster who comes on here from time to time and acts like an asshole and talks about how we're "doing everything wrong" and how we should get into debt instead of buying PMs. He makes a bunch of claims about making millions off contractor work for the government and mining companies without giving any real proof. His antics can end up making up a quarter of the posts on a thread.
After several days of /pmg/ being shat up by his constant assholery, the original someone copied one of his more conceited posts from the previous thread along with this image. The name Big Bob originated with that post. The pasta continued to be reposted off and on for several threads and eventually variations arose and the name Big Bob stuck, still being used to refer to the original poster when he shows up.

Happy new year pmg. I've enjoyed lurking on these threads and reading up about the federal reserve, inlfation, the great reset agenda, and all these eye-opening subjects. I wish you all a happy new year and safe blessings.
