Right now, we are charged 1 trillion a year in usury interest payments on the national debt. To pay for this, they raise the debt and print more, furthering the cycle of increasing interest. Its parasitic and unnecessary considering that the treasury has issued debt free currency before when the government wanted to raise funds.
