Tfw fucking MARK prevented me from being rich.

>feel totally trapped, ask family and friends from advice, get offered money to take care of expenses and told to "start sending out resumes"
>get invited to dinner with friend and his parents, who are very rich and successful
>the mom asks me what I'm doing with my life/what my plans are
>I just casually mention that I'm looking for a job, but I haven't had much luck yet, but don't say anything too pathetic

Since that dinner the mom spent three weeks moving heaven and earth to get me a job, she'd pester her husband, she called in favours, got me interviews, asked me how they went, called back the people for me, worked on my CV with me, etc. then when I finally got the job she wanted nothing in return. She wished me luck and we haven't spoken since. I bought her a nice set of flowers though.

Anyways my point is she is in her 40s and is currently a trophy wife, i.e. clearly a stacy in her younger days, yet she acted towards me with more care and compassion than any of my male friends and associates. I have had little to no romantic luck with women, so I'm sure in the dating pool they can be quite nasty, but I see people on biz say women are incapable of empathy or loyalty or kindness, etc. So how do you guys explain this? Genuinely curious if there some other explanation.
