Can someone explain to a retard the point of the NFT marketplace? No matter how much I read about NFTs I still can't get past the "just right-click and save the image lol" argument. Exactly what does proof of ownership get you here?

For example, I just picked a random NFT on the marketplace, https://nft.gamestop.com/token/0x6d9119bcc2c1e8fc8b86f9a9e26c0ebd65dad745/0x7a3abd3d090f4db36f3e33b3331f21b8806654651048e0a79bcae87f142535a5.. It's selling for 15 ETH - can someone tell me why I should spend 15 ETH on this?
