I wouldn't call it a major dip
Today the price has moved down 3.56% which is less than one standard deviation. This is, by all accounts, a very normal day in bitcoin.
I can't time anything. I can only tell you probabilities in specific windows of time.
For instance, a one standard deviation move downwards can happen multiple days in a row.
However, bear in mind the weekly movement probabilities.
As I said there is approximately zero chance of the price moving down more than 32% in any given week (P(z>=4) ≈ 0)
Also, if you look at the net delta values in that sheet, you see that in the long term bitcoin's direction is up up up. AND that in the long term you are paid substantially more for the same amount of risk than you are in the S&P 500.
