What can and should be achieved depends entirely on where you live. In Western/Central Europe, it's very hard to increase your net worth due to a combination of low wages, high taxes and high cost of living in cities.

Without inheritance, I'd say €50k-100k can be achieved if you're frugal and work smart.

Almost all my friends in their 30s have less than €20k saved and rent a small apartment in the city. The ones with children live pay check to pay check. The ones with more money inherited.

I don't know anyone who has money in crypto or in stocks around here. Everyone keeps it in their bank account with <1% interest.
