Barron what do you suggest we do with our gains when moon? I can't think of anything else apart from buying videogame shit and quitting my job since I'm a fatigued lazy piece of shit. There's things like artistic pursuits but those don't require much money depending on what that pursuit is. I guess what I'm getting at is, will we have an immediate purpose when moon or will that become apparent down the line. Linear destiny or sandbox mode?

Here's the deal.

There's 100s of posts right now about AMPL "collapsing" and "being over". Twitter is infested, Telegram is a cesspool and Discord is marginally better.

But the fundamentals of this project have not changed one bit. If you bought at 600M MC, then buying at 250M MC should be a dream come true.

AMPL is a new primitive, just as BTC and ETH. Imagine how BTC and ETH holders felt during 95% dumps?

I can guarantee that the same amount of FUD posts were here during BTC and ETH days. Probably even more because they didn't have the benefit of having examples from which to draw opinions on.

But the people that held BTC/ETH/LINK, the solid projects, are now the new millionaires and billionaires.

The times are though, no doubt, but just go outside and stop looking at your portfolio. You WILL succeed in the long run.

BTW, just bought 5k more AMPLes at .67 $.

You little child.

If you read the red book, you'll know there's fast traders and holders. You are acting like a fast trader to the T.

Eventually you'll fuck up so don't get cocky. Don't forget that even though you get tails 4 times in a row, the probabilities are still 50/50.

I'm beginning to think that the way to go is creating a highly divesified shitcoin portfolio, and with shitcoin I mean anything below 10M. The main reasons for this are:

1. They won't go significantly lower.

These shitcoins have such very low market cap that only the devs and a bunch of hardcore believers hold them. They are not prone to panic and at these levels the ethpyramid effect is quite strong. Everyone holding them is too greedy about the enormous growth possibilities and won't sell at such low levels. Also, nobody is that retarded to go all in on one of these, so there will be very little effect from FUD, as most people will have only a very tiny chunk of the portfolio in them.

2. Obviously, the growth potential.

If only one of them multiplies x1000 it really doesn't matter what any of the others does. If you spread 2 ETH across 20 shitcoins, 19 of them die and 1 of them multiplies by 1000 your portfolio did a very easy x50. Also, remember point 1, the other coins will not lose much value.

3. Diversification reduces volatility.

Yes, volatility is dangerous on any of these shitcoins alone, but combining them on a highly diversified portfolio you can get volatilities very close to those of the big players while still preserving all the growth potential.

Naturally the best way to go is to choose shitcoins that do sound serious or that have some interesting project. If you pick them up blindly probably it won't work. I think I'll take 2 ETH out of my portfolio and dedicate it to this project.

What do you guys think of this strategy? Will it work? I don't think I can lose much from this. Can you think of any reason why I should put all my money on something like BTC instead?

Also, which coins do you know with market caps <10M that are worth it? Preferably coins that haven't had any kind of mooning yet, as all mooning can be reverted.

I'm gonna do some research on my own and in a while I'll comment some shitcoins that I'll use for this.

Alright, listen up. I have 10k to put in this beautiful market. After much deliberation I narrowed it down to 2 coins. OMG and NEO. I will tip 10$ for reasonable arguments against/pro each of these.

> Now, we’re not going to get it right all the time, right? And that’s why we use adequate position sizing, proper position sizing, and we have this broad base of names and we just, we leave them be. I mean, once they’re in that long-term portfolio, we leave them be, and we let them just print wealth for us. And that’s really been working for the last two years, and I think that will continue to work.

> Now, of course at some point, we’ll go into—you know right now, we’re in kind of this planting mode and at some point, we’ll go into a harvesting mode where we harvest into fiat. But we’re not there yet, it’s too early. Of course, we’re going to have to deal with volatility, that’s the price paid to action when you’re involved in cryptocurrencies. But so long as you have position sized properly and have a diverse holding of names—which we do—then you really shouldn’t let the volatility get to you.

> I think the two most painful things in the cryptocurrency market are, one, when you sell a name prematurely and it moons, that’s difficult. And I think the second is when you see the portfolio rise dramatically and maybe you see your net worth go to $2 million, and then a week later, it’s at $850,000 and you’re thinking, “Oh my God, why didn’t I sell?”

> That’s difficult to go through and I can understand that, but it’s absolutely necessary to go through that if you want to make massive gains. I’m talking about, you know, life-changing massive, massive, massive gains. You’ve got to sit through that volatility. But if you do that, I think you’re going to be extremely well-rewarded.

When I was little I didn't have friends, or, at least, no "friends" that you could call at 3 AM because you are in the middle of nowhere with a dead hooker on the back of the car.

I had a girlfriend at 17, but she broke up 1 year later.

I decided to focus on my career as social shit will come after.

I am now living comfortably, working on interesting stuff, but am lonely as shit, depressed and with no motivation to keep improving.

Why doesn't money make me happy? If _now_ I am not happy, what makes you believe being a *lionair will make you happier?

Can somebody please give me a solution here.

What are your hopes for 2017 /biz/?

I'm sick of being poorfag and/or wageslavefag. All my business plans are worked out and ready to go so I'm either going to make some fucking decent cash or crash and burn.

Dance with me then.
