just make sure you teach her about exit strategies

i remember my idiot friend who made it big on weed stocks and bombardier, like 3x or something, but because (she) never thought to trim/take profits or even have trailing stops, she's now bagholding to this day. Gamestop will eventually dump like OSTK did

at that point, couldn't you have just sold half your shares to cover your cost basis entirely and let the rest go up with no downside?
realistically if it's not options with 100% potential downside, you could also just sell like a quarter of shares since it's not like they're going to $0

that's definitely going to be the plan with GME, i think it's going to be a more gradual squeeze like OSTK, and it will dump out of nowhere eventually

probably? but you'd be a fool not to be trimming your positions after you hit your conservative price target
this will eventually happen to GME once shorts covering becomes overtaken by profit takers and since no one can time it perfectly, you're better off just averaging out your position over time
no need to think of it as selling all or nothing

btw we're above $14 again
