I think you missed my point. It's not about things being consumer friendly or not. It's about how Gamestop would pivot from being a dying brick and mortar store. The ship has sailed for them on moving to a digital platform or being the Amazon of video games.
The pivot would have to be drastic and management would have to want to change.

What do you go to gamestop for that you can go to target or Amazon for? Pre-order bonuses suck nowadays so that isn't a good incentive. I guess if you want a cute goth chick to pester you about getting insurance on your games it's a cool experience?

Same thing happened to me with bitcoin.

No one ever talked to me when i did open the topic about it when it wasnt mainstream.

Fast forward , Bitcoin gets mainstream everyone comes to me asking things and i begin to sell.
